Adopt-A-Family

With the Holiday season in full swing, we have the opportunity to ‘adopt’ two families in need this year as a neighborhood.  The children in each family go to Elk Grove Elementary.  If you are able to donate presents (unwrapped), food or clothing for these families, please contact Denise at 685-9038. Gently used clothes/video games, etc…are okay too!  You may drop off donations at the Fallbrook Caroling in the Park event on December 10^th or to Denise’s home at (If you need the number, please refer to Newsletter or email egfallbrook@yahoo.com) Tuxford Ct. (please call before coming).

Please make donations by 12/18.

We are collecting presents, food and clothing (new or gently used) for both families.

First Family:

·       11-year-old boy:  wears boys size 12 pants, L shirts.  Gift ideas: He enjoys playing Wii games (used okay too), board games, nerf guns and air hog planes.  He needs socks and slippers.

·       9-year-old girl:  wears girls size 12 pants, L shirts.  Gift ideas: She also enjoys playing Wii games and board games and playing Baby Alive, Fijit friends, Fur Real friends and Monster High.

Second Family:

·       Special needs young adult woman: enjoys writing and wears pants size 22 and women’s shirt size 3XL, shoe size 11w.                        

·       14-year-old boy: enjoys playing the guitar and wears pants size 34w 30L and men’s XL shirts, shoe size men’s 11.

·       13-year-old boy: enjoys playing the keyboard and wears pants size 34w 30L shirts and men’s XL shirts, shoe size men’s 10.

·       10-year-old girl: enjoys singing karaoke and wears pants size 15-17 juniors and junior XL shirt (or women’s medium), shoe size women’s 9.             

·       9-year-old boy: enjoys playing Gameboy games (used okay too) and wears pants boys size 12 and shirts boys size 12, shoes boys size 6.
